Nando’s Malaysia’s art initiative began in 2007 with the commissioning of 7 local up and coming artists from diverse backgrounds, with exceptional talents, to create masterpieces seen on the walls of our restaurants.
In 2008, we gave our art initiative
a twist by turning it into an art competition for Malaysian youngsters. This art competition has since come to be known as the Nando’s Peri-fy Your Arts competition. The objective of the competition is to create a platform for young budding artists to realise their potential and gain more exposure for themselves as well as the local art scene.
From being a humble initiative,
Nando’s Peri-fy Your Arts competition has gone to create great awareness for young local artists in the art industry by the showcasing of their artworks in our restaurants, impressive press coverage and by organizing well-publicised art exhibitions.
